988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
TCN is a 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline providing 24/7, free and confidential support for individuals and families in need of assistance.
Step 1 of 4
First, you’ll hear a message that gives you service selection options, including Veterans (Press 1), Spanish-language (Press 2), or your local 988 Lifeline contact center.
Step 2 of 4
We’ll play some hold music while you are connected to a live crisis specialist.
Step 3 of 4
A crisis specialist will say hello and introduce themselves. Your skilled crisis specialist will ask you if you are safe.
Step 4 of 4
After they ask about your safety, your crisis specialist will listen to you, understand how your problem is affecting you, provide support, safety planning, and share any resources that may be helpful.
Crisis Walk-in Center
In a crisis situation requiring intervention, anyone in need may walk-in, without an appointment, to any office location during our business hours. A clinician will assess and assist in clarifying concerns, identifying options, and developing a plan for ongoing resolution. In the event that a need occurs outside of business hours, please call the 988 Suicide & crisis hotline .
Community Crisis Intervention
“Often crises occur in the community or a person's home and there are difficulties with getting that person to our office. When clinically necessary, a crisis intervention counselor will go to the home or community location of the person needing services to provide crisis assessment services and referrals for ongoing assistance. Please understand when using this service that the crisis counselor will be accompanied by a law enforcement officer for the purpose of ensuring safety for all parties. The presence of the officer is not for arrest purposes.
Ohio offers youth crisis intervention in every county through Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS). Adult mobile crisis services are available in select counties. If you need help, call 988 to be connected with a crisis specialist and get support connecting to your local crisis intervention team.”
