Helping Children Thrive: Compassionate Psychiatric Care at TCN

TCN Offers Access to Psychiatric Care for Children and Adolescents

Access to high-quality mental health care is essential for helping children grow, thrive, and overcome the challenges that can arise during development. Psychiatric needs among youth continue to rise across the nation, and early intervention has been consistently shown to improve long-term outcomes. Recognizing this growing need, TCN is proud to offer specialized Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services, ensuring that young individuals and their families receive compassionate, comprehensive care close to home.

“It is our honor to be trusted in the care of our patients and their families at TCN and we look forward to using our expertise in helping the youth and families in the communities we serve,” says Dr. Maria Mathias, one of TCN’s dedicated psychiatrists.

Supporting Children Through Every Stage of Growth

Children experience the world differently than adults, and their mental health needs are just as unique. Conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related stress, and behavioral concerns can significantly impact a child’s daily functioning, school success, and family life. Early evaluation and treatment can make a meaningful difference in a child’s ability to manage emotions, build resilience, and reach their full potential.

TCN’s psychiatric team is trained to understand the developmental, emotional, and social factors that influence a child’s well-being. Through individualized assessments and treatment planning, families receive guidance and support tailored to their child’s needs. TCN provides psychiatric services for children ages 6 and older, and age 5 on a case-by-case basis, depending on individual readiness and clinical considerations. This flexibility ensures that younger children with more complex needs can still access specialized care when appropriate.
