TCN Behavioral Health Services proudly celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Rockdell Villas, Greene County's first Permanent Supportive Housing community designed for individuals experiencing homelessness and living with severe and persistent mental illness.
Developed through a more than $13 million investment, Rockdell Villas features 40 one-bedroom apartments, including accessible units, and offers comprehensive supportive services that promote recovery, housing stability, improved health outcomes, and greater independence. Residents will have access to community amenities, outdoor gathering spaces, vocational training opportunities, and telehealth connections to TCN's full continuum of behavioral health services.
The celebration brought together community leaders, partners, supporters, and Congressman Mike Turner to recognize this significant milestone for Fairborn and Greene County. The need for supportive housing remains critical, with recent data identifying 446 chronically homeless individuals in Greene County.
Rockdell Villas reflects TCN's more than 36-year commitment to serving vulnerable populations and demonstrates the impact of strong community partnerships in creating safe, stable housing and new opportunities for individuals to thrive.
